Travel experiences can be a powerful addiction, and even after all these years I have to confess that personally I still have the bug!
So, when the opportunity arises (which is never often enough!), it is a good time to get out, see and experience new adventures!
This little "blog" section is simply a place to share some of our first hand knowledge and experiences - from exclusive travel industry previews and "famils" through to specific activities, events and personal travel experiences. Enjoy!

I had a chance for a sneak on board and a quick peek of Queen Victoria when she was in Sydney recently (well, this was taken last year..). A truly beautiful and magic Ocean Liner!
Queen Victoria weighs in at 90,000 tonnes, and I must say she is one of the most impressive ships I have had the opportunity to inspect! The atmosphere and decor is that of classic style cruising, and she holds one of the most gorgeous theatres I have ever seen on a ship. Not called a cruise ship, Queen Victoria is an "Ocean Liner" very much in the tradition of the world famous QEII.

Matt Tries The Surfing Thing.
Let me say at the outset, that I have never surfed before. Never even been big on boogie boarding. Now this revelation is probably a bit embarrassing to admit for a kid who grow up in 'The Shire', just a stone's throw from the beach..
However, thanks to the free Coca-Cola Surf School series in 2009, I thought heck - it was well past time I gave it a go. I am not afraid to try new adventures!
So, off to Cronulla I trotted to check the offshore action and catch some

It was a day that was certainly out of the ordinary. A bit of a brief history first. My mother-in-law had suffered a broken arm whilst on holiday in Taree on the Sunday. She actually tripped on a drain grate at a service station on the highway at Buladelah.
Anyhow, she rang through on the Monday afternoon to let us know what had happened, and to try and make arrangements to somehow get her (and her car) back home to

Small Plane, Big City My wifes' uncle owns a small plane. Very small. 2 seats and barely enough room to swing a cat. Made in the Czech Republic and sent out in kit form to build yourself. Small.
Ken knew that I was partial to flying and he always promised to take me up for a bit of a sightseeing flight, so one gloriously fine day in April 2005, he gave me a call and the gig was on.
I headed down to

Tropical North Queensland - A Taste Of Water Based Adventures! You can't visit Tropical Queensland and not be involved in some sort of water based activity somewhere along the way. Whether snorkelling, scuba diving, whitewater rafting, kayaking, jetskiing, parasailing or trying something else, the abundance of water lends itself to an absolute plethora of activities.
