World Champion Boarder X snowboarder, Alex ‘Chumpy’ Pullin, and World Champion Slopestyle Skier Anna Segal are celebrating one hundred and fifty years of skiing in Australia as the new official Ambassadors for Snow Australia.
The SSA Snowsports Athletes of the Year will be encouraging Australia’s first timers to ‘Discover Our Winter’ and experience the nation’s snow regions for skiing, snowboarding, snow play, cross country skiing and more. Joining Anna and Chumpy is sixteen year old Winter Olympian, mogul skier Britteny Cox, as an honorary junior Ambassador.

Virgin Blue has today officially rebranded as the Virgin Australia Group of Airlines, with the much-hyped landing this morning of the first two aircraft carrying the long-awaited and much-rumoured new livery.
The 737 and A330 also reveal the design of the carrier's new economy and business class cabins, which will be rolled out across the majority of the carrier's current domestic fleet by the end of the year.

The whole of the Emerald Isle is abuzz with enthusiasm for the visits of Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II and the USA’s President Barack Obama – both taking place this May.
The visits from two of the world’s most important heads of state are expected to boost Ireland’s image worldwide.
Queen Elizabeth’s historic visit will be the first from a British monarch to the Irish State. It will also be her first trip abroad after her grandson Prince William’s marriage to Kate Middleton at Westminster Abbey in April.

For the second time in a matter of weeks, Qantas has announced today it would again increase domestic, regional and Tasman air fares sold in Australia as part of its ongoing response to high oil and jet fuel prices.
Increases of up to $10 per sector (flight) will apply to domestic and regional fares for tickets issued on or after 31 March. Increases of up to eight per cent will also apply to Tasman fares.
