Yesterday’s official launch of the new Tourism Australia ad campaign marks the beginning of a fresh approach to selling Australia to the world, according to peak industry body, Tourism & Transport Forum (TTF).
TTF Managing Director Christopher Brown said the campaign brings together iconic imagery and music, but is it a case of same old, same old?

The curfew in Bangkok and the 24 provinces covered by the Emergency Decree* has been lifted, but the Emergency Decree will remain in place to ensure peace and order.

Central Queensland’s Mon Repos beach has hatched the best turtle laying season in 28 years - and it’s not too late to experience this natural wonder.
Around 400 endangered Loggerhead turtles have visited the coastline this season to nest at the largest rookery in the South Pacific Ocean.
Every year from November to March, Mon Repos near Bundaberg usually welcomes back around 200 to 300 nesting turtles and their hatchlings but this season has seen a dramatic increase in turtle numbers

Fresh from celebrating the publication of its 100 millionth guide, Lonely Planet has announced it will release new editions of two of its iconic "Shoestring Guides" in March 2010.
For more than three decades, Lonely Planet’s Shoestring Guides have been the bibles for travellers planning big trips on small budgets.
